Youtube gaming and VidCon came together to host a charity event of $50k to celebrate mobile gaming. On Thursday, they invited some of the popular mobile gaming content creators during VidCon to play the matches on stream for charity. For this charity event famous streamers like Jimmy”OJ” Chau, Tim”Ash” Evans, Poerbang Gaming and more joined to play in an Olympic-type tournament with various mobile games like Call Of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile, Clash Royale And many more.
This YouTube charity tournament was two-hour-long celebration event with mobile gaming creators going head to head in duos format. In this Tournament, the influencers played Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, PUBG Mobile and Call Of Duty Mobile. The event was live on VidCon Official youtube channel. The winners got the prizemoney of $50k that will go to the charity by their choice for Covid-19 relief fund.

After the multiple games and rounds played by all the streamers, the duo of KAIROSTIME & LEX won the charity event and got the reward of $50k for charity. They donated that money to the World Health Organization (WHO).
In 2010 ViacomCBS started organising VidCon an online video tech meeting. This event is annually held in Southern California. Usually, a live event is held each year at the Anaheim Convention centre but due to Covid-19 pandemic, this shifted to online. Where content creators from many platforms like YouTube, Twitch and others joined the event.
According to YouTube, this tournament is of an initiative by the company to provide “high quality and competitive” video content for gaming fans globally while bringing awareness towards the audience.
