xQc takes a dig at Pokimane comment on joining Kick, after xQc Kick Deal – Pokimane expressed her concerns about compromising her own morals and ethics for a $10 million deal, prompting xQc to fire back both during his live stream and on Twitter. While many streamers congratulated xQc on his lucrative deal, there have been detractors who question the ethical implications of partnering with Kick.
Popular streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has responded to fellow streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, who took a dig at his recent $100 million deal with streaming platform Kick. This is primarily due to Kick’s association with Stake, a crypto casino and sports gambling website.

xQc challenged Pokimane to clarify which specific morals and ethics were being breached and criticized the notion of equating gambling with winning. xQc further emphasized that if those who criticized him were proven wrong in the future, they would not take the opportunity to rectify their statements.
To support his stance, xQc highlighted instances where streamers had accepted gambling deals, including partnerships with Stake itself. Days later, he took to Twitter to mock Pokimane and others, suggesting that flaunting one’s ethics stems from insecurity.
“What morals and ethics is there to f*cking breach? I genuinely don’t get it, about what? Oh, it’s the same gamba equals the win argument. So instead of doing the win argument, it’s layering morals and ethics on top of that,” xQc responded.
I’m not pressed, I just think it’s weird under that pretext because later down the line, when they’re all proven wrong, nobody will go back and correct the thing by saying ‘Hey you know what guys, it wasn’t about gamba.’ They never go back and fix this,” he continued.
Flexing your morals and ethics on other people around you comes from pure insecurity. Nothing else.

The clash between xQc and Pokimane over the ethical implications of his Kick deal continues to fuel the ongoing discourse on streaming ethics and financial opportunities in the industry. Given the ongoing discussions surrounding gambling in streaming, it is unlikely that this particular controversy will fade away soon.
