xQc reacts to the Five Nights at Freddy trailer drop- The Fight Nights at Freddy’s series is well-liked when it comes to horror video games from the 2010s. The gameplay is straightforward yet effective, the franchise’s premise is terrifying, and the game’s extensive world narrative gives the franchise depth and interest.
In light of this, a live-action adaptation of the well-known horror video game series is in development and scheduled to debut later in 2023. A movie trailer has finally been released after months of waiting. In addition to a leaked trailer that appeared online earlier this month and featured the terrifying Springtrap, the 45-second teaser features a tonne of Easter Eggs.
xQc reacts to the Five Nights at Freddy trailer drop: “ Because it’s scuffed..”
Fans of the games have, however, reacted differently to the official trailer. While many people are very eager for the upcoming movie, others aren’t so confident that this adaptation will be an Oscar-worthy one. With opinions about the trailer making their way into social media discussions, viewers of Twitch star xQc wanted his take on this.
During a live stream, The Juicer gave his opinion of the film and admitted to his audience that he didn’t find the animatronics to be particularly frightening. “Okay chat, here’s the bad take. Ready? I feel like the way they’ve been navigating this, like the whole Five Nights at Freddy’s, like the whole word of it — I think it’s always so polished,” he explained.
“I wish they went full scuffed. With the whole franchise, I feel like it was so nice, the colors were nice. I wish they went full-scuffed, right? And the scary nature was because it was almost real. Does that make sense? Because it’s scuffed.”
xQc pointed out the aspect of the upcoming movie that many on the Internet have been critical about. The dark element of the video game series appealed to a larger audience and kept people hooked to it. And if the live movie adaptation lacks that element, it’s sure to receive mixed reactions.
