xQc Kick Deal: “I’ve been thinking about this for months”
In a recent stream with Pokimane, xQc disclosed that he had been contemplating a move to Kick for several months. Despite feeling apprehensive, xQc wanted to ensure he was making the right decision and took time for the same.
“A lot of people think, ‘Oh because Twitch is making all these bad decisions’ right, that what I did was like ‘Oh Twitch is being weird I’m leaving’. I’ve been thinking about this for months,” xQc admitted.
Contrary to popular belief, xQc clarified that Twitch’s recent controversies were not the primary motivation behind his decision to join Kick. He emphasized that his desire to explore other platforms had been brewing for a while, independent of Twitch’s missteps.
xQc explained that he needed to be fully committed mentally before making the move to Kick. This mental preparation was crucial for him to confidently embrace the opportunities offered by Kick.
“I had to really give it a try in my head and really get there mentally. Because I was never going to swap unless I was fully there mentally. It’s all in pretty much. I don’t like doing half ideas, I have to be in or not,” xQc said.
xQc’s move to Kick was a carefully considered decision that had been on his mind for months. It was not merely a reaction to Twitch’s recent policy changes. By taking the time to mentally prepare himself, xQc has embraced the opportunities offered by Kick and set himself up for substantial financial gains.
