xQc clashes with Nadia over Pokimane Cookie controversy defense – In the midst of the ongoing cookie controversy surrounding Twitch star Pokimane’s Myna Snacks launch, xQc has entered the drama. He aimed at Nadia’s defense of Pokimane amid the pricing backlash.
Pokimane faced criticism for the pricing and perceived similarities of her Myna Snacks cookies to a product available at Costco. Despite assurances from Pokimane and a Myna spokesperson that the formula is unique, the debate over pricing intensified, with the streamer playfully mocking upset fans in a now-viral statement.
xQc clashes with Nadia over Pokimane Cookie controversy defense
“When a girl sells cookies that’s when y’all wanna speak out? The immense hatred towards women on the internet is unhinged,” Nadia wrote on X. “This is why there is a threshold on women, yea it’s easier for us to get publicity, but to reach the top is almost impossible. The standards upheld on us are so extreme. However, the men at the top can say/do anything without any repercussions.”
Nadia, in defense of Pokimane, suggested that the criticism was fueled by sexism, pointing out the disparity in reactions when male streamers face controversy. She argued that the standards for women in the industry are extreme, making it difficult for them to reach the top.

This perspective did not sit well with xQc, who responded on X, sarcastically challenging Nadia’s assertion. He retorted, “Yes Nadia, it is the hate towards women that gave the cookies their price tag. Coincidentally, it’s also the hate towards women that made everyone live paycheck to paycheck and not be able to afford luxury goods. There’s no valid criticism here, tell em queen.”
As the exchange unfolded on social media, xQc’s comments added another layer to the already heated discourse surrounding Pokimane’s cookies. The streamer had earlier suggested the possibility of lowering the cookie prices in response to the backlash.
While Nadia and Pokimane have not directly addressed xQc’s remarks at the time of writing, the ongoing controversy underscores the challenges female streamers face in the gaming and streaming industry.
