xQc blames Rust streamers for stream snipping during the recent Twitch Rivals event – Popular Twitch streamer xQc claimed fellow Rust streamers were guilty of stream snipping during the recent Twitch Rivals Rust Team Battle III. He was offended by such an incident during the event, calling it the “cringiest s*** of all time”.
In the well-known strategy game Rust, players must gather resources in a forested environment in order to survive. The Rust competition that took place last April 2022, which was originally scheduled to last for three days, was shortened because the Spanish team, led by Alexby11, accused Twitch management of discrimination.

And it appears that the most recent Twitch Rivals Rust Team Battle in May 2023 was no different, as the juicer xQc has charged Rust streamers with engaging in stream sniping in the closing moments of the competition. He calls out Tabsy, a Team Willjum member and Rust broadcaster, for stream sniping in a video as he watches Tabsy’s base get raided.
“This is the cringiest s*** of all time,” xQc angrily claimed as he watched the clip. “The entire enemy side is in his base, and his chat just emote spams Raid, and this guy goes into comms and says ‘are we getting raided?’ without even thinking and he’s just F1’s in the middle of a Raid.”
He said that as a result of Tabsy’s stream sniping, his squad was able to respond to an approaching raid more quickly. It is fairly evident that many of xQc’s teammates did not perceive the video as stream sniping through his conversation when he later forwarded it to them.
But this wasn’t the first time xQc has called out other streamers throughout the event. On the first day of Twitch Rivals, xQc called out other streams as “boring” and said they were ruining the vibe of the competition.
