xQc and Adept Court Case: Sexual assault investigation concludes, Know More- In a recent update, legal documents suggest that the sexual assault investigation involving Twitch personalities xQc and Adept has been concluded without resulting in a conviction. The couple, who had a history of being “informally married” since 2020, filed for divorce in November 2022, with tensions escalating further when Adept sought a Protective Order on June 9, 2023.
The Protective Order was prompted by allegations of family violence, with Adept asserting that xQc had either caused harm or made threats against her. This legal order mandated a 350ft separation between the two and prohibited xQc from discussing any aspect of their relationship in public forums, including his Twitch streams.
xQc and Adept Court Case: Sexual assault investigation concludes, Know More
A Twitch streamer named Henry Resilient, who had previously leaked private documents related to a divorce, made a request for public information on August 10, 2023. He wanted to find out the truth about the allegations made by Adept.
However, some of the requested information was not released because it was related to ongoing legal proceedings and included identifying details. Despite this, Resilient shared the final decision made by the court.
According to the obtained documents, the investigation into the allegations has been closed, with the reported outcome indicating a lack of conviction or deferred adjudication. A significant portion of the documents, particularly Exhibit C, seemed to pertain to the sexual assault allegations against xQc.
While the specifics of Exhibit C were not disclosed, the statement accompanying it clarified that it concerned a closed criminal investigation. This did not result in a conviction or deferred adjudication, thus exempting it from public disclosure.
xQc, who had previously acknowledged instances of infidelity but vehemently denied any physical or sexual assault allegations from past relationships, including those involving Adept, addressed the matter on a stream held on August 12, 2023. He strongly refuted any claims of physical abuse or assault, asserting that throughout all his relationships, he had never engaged in such behaviour.
This latest development adds a new layer to the ongoing saga of xQc and Adept. The legal proceedings and public statements continue to shape the narrative surrounding their dramatic relationship.
