xQc Adept Divorce Filing: After leaked divorce filings, xQc refuses to discuss split on Twitch
Leaked documents appear to dispute xQc’s claim that he and Adept did not tie the knot, confirming they were married between August 2020 and October 2022. Several conditions within the legal split were revealed online around that time after it was requested.
This leak not only highlights the various demands from the parties involved, but also confirms a number of restrictions now imposed on xQc, in light of his very public life as one of Twitch’s biggest personalities.
“Respondent to be enjoined from taking any steps to stalk, harass, threaten, or otherwise intimidate Petitioner,” the document outlined. As a result, the obvious is in effect, with xQc unable to physically approach his former partner or contact her virtually. However, this restraining order also accounts for his presence online.
As a result of a court order, xQc cannot “discuss the litigation on any social media profile (including but not limited to Twitch and YouTube). In addition, he cannot influence his legion of followers to harass Adept without getting directly involved in the matter.
Additionally, the document revealed that Adept was seeking full compensation for its legal fees. Aside from hiring attorneys, xQc also covers trial costs.
Given the potential legal repercussions, it is obvious that xQc has not yet addressed the authenticity of the leaked documents. Given their nature, he is also unlikely to do so anytime soon.
