Within two days of the closed beta’s launch, XDefiant surged to the top of the Twitch directory. The first-person shooter continues to draw around 50,000 viewers, surpassing the combined popularity of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.
The statistics were seen on Twitch’s browsing page, which lists several gaming categories along with the total number of viewers. Given that Activision just released its third seasonal update for its most current series, this development is rather alarming.
