Xbox Games Showcase 2022: All the major reveals that you need to know- The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 was held on June 12. It was a 90-minute premiere featuring trailers of games developed by the top creators and studios. From Blizzards’s highly anticipated titles like Diablo IV and Overwatch 2, to new upcoming games like Redfall. Here are some of the major game announcements and trailers that were revealed during the showcase.
Starfield – the next generation RPG
Since its announcement back in 2018, Starfield by Bethesda has garnered a lot of hype. The gameplay features space exploration, spaceship building, and a lot of other role-playing elements based on the futuristic setting. The trailer shown during the event gives a slight peek into the gameplay as well as the character creation interface.
Blizzard reveals Overwatch 2 release date and Diablo IV details
After much anticipation, the official release date of Overwatch 2 is finally here. Blizzard has announced that the game will be free to play and players will get early access from October 4th. With its release, a new tank hero called Junker Queen will also be added to it.
Diablo IV will also arrive on PC and Xbox. During the showcase, the Necromancer class was revealed. It will be the fifth and final class in the game. The reveal has already hyped up fans as they await its release in 2023.

Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon 5
The upcoming Forza Motorsport looks like a visual masterpiece. It will have the Xbox Series X’s ray-tracing capabilities that can clearly display details like the time of day and temperatures, in-depth car-building, and various other features.
The Forza Horizon 5 is also getting a new Hot Wheels expansion. It will allow players to build up their own custom race tracks with virtual track pieces. The expansion pack will be released on July 19.
Minecraft Legends will arrive
A new spinoff series called Minecraft Legends has been revealed during the showcase event. It will be a new action-strategy spinoff in which players will have to strive for uniting the overworld.
Redfall by Arkane Studios
During the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Redfall was revealed. It is a co-op, first-person shooter game in which players have to defeat vampires in the fictional town of Redfall, Massachusetts. The game is developed by Arkane Studios and will be released in 2023.
Elder Scroll Online reveals a new area
The new exploration area in Elder Scrolls Online called High Isle has been revealed during the showcase event. The location comprises a series of isles located in the Systres Archipelago and players will have to defend the locals of this place from the Bretons from the Ascendant Order.
