The cover art for WWE 2K22, which features former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio, looks to have been leaked ahead of time. According to a tweet by TechnikNews, Rey Mysterio, the fan-favorite Luchador, will adorn the WWE 2K22 cover. In addition, the discussion provided some details about the launch and pre-order bonuses. Beginning March 8, the game will purportedly provide a three-day early access period. The Undertaker Immortal Pack, as well as the season pass, will be included in both the Deluxe and NWO 4-Life Editions of the game.
Not only has the cover been ‘leaked,’ but pre-order goodies have also been revealed early. According to the leak, pre-order bonuses will include things like the Undertaker Immortal Pack. Three extra Undertaker Personas are included in the Undertaker Immortal Pack. Phantom Mask ‘Taker, Lord of Darkness ‘Taker, and Boneyard Match ‘Taker are just a few examples.

Pre-orders for WWE 2K22 are expected to start soon, and the game appears to be a cross-gen release, meaning it will be playable on both last-gen and new-gen consoles.
The previous few major WWE games, particularly WWE 2K20, have left a lot to be desired. The game was widely lambasted for its clumsy gameplay and terrifying graphic faults, among other things. Because of the poor reception, 2K decided to delay the 2021 release and regroup for a relaunch in 2022. According to what we’ve heard thus far, WWE 2K22’s devs have made significant progress.
The fact that Rey Mysterio is on the cover of WWE 2K22 comes as no surprise, given that the game was rumored to have a Career Showcase for the Superstar. Typically, Superstars who appear in WWE 2K games’ Showcase appear on the covers of those games. In previous installments of the franchise, 2K has followed this approach.
