Like other years, Riot Games has selected Jarvan IV, The Exemplar of Demacia, that will get the Championship skin this time. The Championship skin has been released since 2012 in the second Worlds Championship to commemorate the largest event of the year. This skin is released just before the World Championships starts.
The following champions have received the Championship skins: Riven (2012), Thresh (2013), Shyvana (2014), Kalista (2015), Zed (2016), Ashe (2017), Kha’Zix (2018), Ryze (2019), and LeBlanc (2020). Jarvan IV will be the latest champion that will be added to this lineup to celebrate the 2021 World Championships.
The Jarvan IV Championship skin uses blue and silver colors to give it an appearance similar to the Summoner’s Cup. The skill, abilities, and recall animation of Jarvan IV also has elements that can be matched with the Summoner’s Cup and League of Legends esports.
