Riot Games has announced that it will partner with cinema houses at various locations across Europe and broadcast the Finals of League of Legends Worlds 2021 Live at the theaters. There will be 70 cinema halls that will be doing this on 6th November 2021 at 14:00 CEST.
Riot Games had previously accomplished this task during the League of Legends World Championship Finals of 2019 where G2 Esports battled FunPlus Phoenix. The series was broadcast live across 150 theatres in Europe and the concept was hugely popular among fans. Thus European fans can again go to the silver screen and experience the exhilarating Worlds Finals again. The tickets can be booked online at lolincinemas.com. We have entered the Knockout stages and teams will start their best of 5 series Quarter Final matches against each other from 22nd October till 25th October. The matchups are as follows:
- 22nd October – T1 vs Hanwa Life Esports
- 23rd October – Royal Never Give Up vs EDward Gaming
- 24th October – Damwon KIA vs MAD Lions
- 25th October – Gen.G vs Cloud9
The winning teams from 23rd and 25th October will play the Semi-Finals on 30th October while the winners from 22nd and 24th October will play the Semi-Finals on 31st October. The finalists from both these matchups will battle for the Summoner’s Cup on 6th November.
