The title of the update is shown in front of a map of Rebirth Island with various photographs tacked to it in the image. On top of the map, there’s also a gun and some ammo. Raven tweeted, “Reloaded and Reinforced, Rebirth Island gets a facelift next week.” If you look closely, the map appears to be teasing a few of the Rebirth Island map overhaul changes. Take a look. The official Raven Software Twitter account has released a new teaser for the revamped island, which shows the map’s emblem as well as the places of interest it will include. Docks and Stronghold will be brand-new regions to battle in, based on the points of interest shown. Many of the important locations from the original map appear to still be there, including Chemical Engineering and the Nova 6 Factory. However, even if comparable names are utilised and some assets are retained, the map could end up playing very differently than it does now.

The map will be released “next week,” according to a new teaser from Raven Software, though no specific date has been given. Regardless, Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone’s midseason DLC is just a few days away, and it will be fascinating to see how gamers respond to the new Rebirth Island. While Caldera has been controversial, Verdansk 84 has been highly accepted than before, and this new Rebirth map appears to be more similar to the latter than the former.
