The weekend started with a bang, Redbull Campus Clutch Valorant India Finals finally came to an end and we have our champions. Villainous one-sidedly, clutched the championship beating 7sins, 2-0 in the finals.
The final day of the tournament started with the semi-finals. Four teams which qualified played 2 games in the semis, the games were quite intense. The first match was in the Icebox map between 7Sins & QQQ. 7Sins clutched the victory by 13-7 after dominating the side from the start.
The second semi-finals match was played on the map Ascent between Nasha eSports & Villainous. Nasha eSports almost made a comeback but Villanous managed to cover up the remaining rounds and won the match by 11-13. Villainous and 7Sins were therefore qualified to the finals.
The final match of the tournament was the best-of-three tie, where villainous clean swiped 7Sins by 2-0. The 3 maps decided for the final clash were:
- Split
- Ascent
- Haven
Match 1 – Split
Villanous started the map on the defender side & dominated the side with 8 rounds in hand. After the swap 7sins had a chance to make a comeback but Villanous were more prepared to attack and clutched the map by 13-5.
Match 2 – Ascent
This time villainous were attacking and the domination was more than enough to explain the white-wash of the best-of-three. They clinched 9 rounds in the first half. After the swap, 7Sins were only able to win 2 more rounds whereas villainous won the match by 13-5. Hereby they clean swiped the championship by 2-0 one-sidedly.
With this victory, Villainous will be representing India in the upcoming RedBull Campus Clutch Global Valorant Championship. Although they will be playing qualifiers starting from June 3rd and qualify for the Madrid LAN event which is scheduled to start from July 17th.

The day was really fun, the weekend could never be better than this. Not only the games but the casters and the guests brought the entertainment to the stream. We enjoy such tournaments and it is great to see Indian eSports rising high.
