Every South Asian team ongoing lots of changes and up-gradation with the ultimate goal to outperform their opponents in the upcoming impactful Events. There is no update on Former Team Captain Anuj ‘Amaterasu’ Sharma’s hand injury yet so his availability for VCC 2022 is still under doubt. However, Euphoria (VLT content creator) revealed that Amaterasu has also registered for VCC 2022.
With their Valorant roster ruling the rankings in various competitions, Velocity Gaming has established itself as a powerful esports organization in India. They came within a whisker of representing India at the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifiers, finishing second in the Valorant Conquerors Championship, Riot Games’ first official event. In fact, they are emerging as one of the topmost contenders for VCC 2022.
Enigma Gaming also Showing Preparedness for VCC 2022 by Adding Excali in Roster
Enigma Gaming’s Valorant roster has grown by another prodigy. At Enigma Gaming, Karan “Excali” Mhaswadar joins forces with Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose, a former Velocity Gaming teammate. This marquee arrival signals Enigma Gaming’s aim for 2022.
Excali’s departure from XO and the stack was rumoured over the off-season, and it has finally come to pass, with Enigma announcing his accession to their already formidable lineup for 2022, along with the appointment of Lukas “yb” Groning to coach and teach the players. As it stands, Enigma will have a six-man squad in Valorant.
The Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) 2022 prize pool is $30,000, with a $1,500 prize for the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). VCC allows participants to qualify for the Asia Pacific (APAC) Challenger Playoffs Split 1 by playing in the tournament. The victorious team will next compete in the VCT 2022 Masters Split 1 competition.
