VCT Pacific 2024: T1 adds f0rsakeN’s brother, a veteran, and a young prodigy to its VALORANT team for 2024 VCT season
Despite their disappointing results in international VCT tournaments, T1 has had a strong domestic performance by coming third in the VCT Pacific 2023 league. On Sept. 12, the organization announced that it will be parting ways with Joseph “ban” Seungmin Oh, Kang “iNTRO” Seung-gyun, and Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom through a mutual agreement.

To replace these members, T1 soon annouced their replacements—Kevin “xccurate” Susanto, Lee “k1Ng” Seung-won, and Ham “iZu” Woo-joo.
Kevin “xccurate” Susanto is the big brother of the Paper Rex star player Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto. He had been a part of Counter Strike: Global Offensive for a long time, playing under team Tyloo and even reaching the New Legends stage of 2018 London Major. After retiring from CS:GO in 2022, he had been streaming VALORANT and will now be a part of T1.
Lee “k1Ng” Seung-won is a VALORANT veteran. He was a part of the Vision Strikers team which is known for its famous 102-match winning streak. While Vision Strikers eventually became DRX, k1Ng joined Gen.G for the 2023 season. Although Gen.G had a lackluster performance, many people still believe in k1Ng’s potential. Hence, his addition to T1 might better the organization’s results.
Ham “iZu” Woo-joo is a young Korean player coming from the Japanese team Jadeite. Jadeite had qualified for the second split in the Japanese circuit and went on to reach the Grand Finals. Although, Jadeite lost to SCARZ and failed to qualify for Ascension, iZu’s plays impressed everyone. Now he has the chance to perform at the biggest stage in the region with T1.
Along with the existing roster, these additions might boost T1’s performance in the upcoming 2024 VCT season. Stay tuned to get more such official VALORANT news and updates.
