VCT Pacific 2023: Global Esports takes down Talon to register its first win in the VCT Pacific Regular season – Global Esports had a rocky start in the VCT Pacific 2023 regular season. They lost 3 games back-to-back and had to play with an incomplete roster since both SkRossi and Lightningfast were not able to join the team due to Visa issues. Today, both Indian players made a debut in the series against Talon Esports and helped GE to register its first win.

1st Map – Split
Split was GE’s pick in the series and the team had gained a commanding lead in the first half with a 9-3 round score. In the second half, GE’s momentum continued as they closed the map with a 12-6 score win. Lightningfast made his debut in VCT on this map and his aggressive playstyle allowed him to get 5 first kills in the series to give his team some momentum.
2nd Map – Icebox
Icebox was Talon’s pick in the series but GE gave them tough competition. In the first half, both teams ended with a 6-6 tied score. Even in the second half, the teams traded rounds evenly and GE was only able to win with a narrow 13-11 score. SkRossi substituted for Lightningfast on this map and he also played quite well.
Global Esports played well in this series. Even in some of their last games, the team had come quite close to winning before getting beaten by the enemy team. Not only have the players’ performances been improving, but the addition of SkRossi and Lightningfast also seems to have brought in some much-needed luck for this roster.
