According to recent results by both teams, XERXIA, a Thai Valorant professional team, has dominated OpTic Gaming in the event. Furthermore, the team won their most recent match brilliantly, winning two maps in a row. Fans had hoped for something similar, but NA had the last laugh this time.
Map 1: Fracture
Fracture, the first map, had some fantastic rounds from both sides, ranging from rapid site executions to longer rotations. OpTic battled back to tie the game at 6-6 at halftime because of a spectacular Guardian clutch from Panyawat “sushiboys” Subsiriroj. As the OpTic attack team arrived, they made good use of their Neon and Breach, garnering a lot of value by rushing and blinding their opponents.

XERXIA also managed to throw away a round they were almost clutching on at least one occasion. Itthirit “foxz” Ngamsaard successfully evaded a Brimstone ult in round 16, but then walked back into it, losing the round and forcing a timeout. OpTic eventually won the opening map 13-9, putting them one map away from making the playoffs.
MAP 2: HAVEN
OpTic got off to a good start on the map, forcing XERXIA into two back-to-back 1v4 scenarios that they couldn’t win. Optic Gaming appeared to be in command from the start, with XERXIA struggling to win their first round. However, OpTic quickly picked up the pace, winning two more rounds in the space of a single typical one. OpTic led 9-3 at halftime because of their fast start.
