VCT LOCK//IN Semifinals Day 2: Fnatic clean sweeps NAVI to become the final team in VCT LOCK//IN Grand Finals – From the Omega Bracket of the VCT LOCK//IN, 2 EMEA teams had made it to the semifinals. Both NAVI and Fnatic looked in top form throughout the tournament, but only one of them could advance to the Grand Finals. It was Fnatic who had a dominating performance in the semifinals as they clean-swept NAVI 3-0 in the series to knock them out of the tournament. Here is a recap of the VCT LOCK//IN Semifinals Day 2.

FIRST MAP – Haven
Fnatic had a 7-5 round score giving them a slight lead in the first half of Haven. It helped them secure the map when the second half went to a 6-6 equal score. Hence, Fnatic took the lead in the 1-0 series.
Second MAP – Lotus
In Lotus, Fnatic completely crushed NAVI. They secured 10 rounds in the first half and 3 in the second to register a 13-4 easy win over NAVI. With massive winning momentum and a 2-0 map lead, Fnatic went to the Fracture looking the win it and create a clean 3-0 sweep.
Third MAP – Fracture
In the first half of Fracture, both teams performed equally well and clinched a 6-6 equal round score. Being on a series point, Fnatic triumphed despite an almost comeback attempt of NAVI. In the second half, Fnatic secured a narrow 7-5 round over NAVI and won the map with a 13-11 scoreline.
It will be Fnatic who will face LOUD in the Grand Finals of the VCT LOCK//IN in São Paulo, Brazil. All Fnatic players gave their best performance to clean sweep NAVI by 3-0 and move on to the final series of the tournament.
The Grand Finals between LOUD and Fnatic will take place on March 4 from 10:30 PM IST.
