VCT LOCK//IN Results Day 4: Giants and Karmine Corp’s journey have come to a halt in São Paulo – The matches in the Alpha Bracket of the VCT LOCK//IN have become highly intense. On Day 4, fans witnessed impressive gameplays from NRG and LOUD as they secured quarterfinals spots and knocked out Giants and Karmine Corp from the tournament respectively. VCT LOCK//IN Day 4 Results: Giants and Karmine Corp’s journey have come to a halt in São Paulo
NRG vs Giants (2-1)
The American representatives NRG were favorites going into this series. In the first map Lotus, they forced an overtime but Giants were able to hold on and secure the map. NRG crushed Giants in the second map Haven, winning it with a dominant 13-1 round score. After winning the third map Icebox by 13-7, NRG secured the series with a 2-1 and booked a spot in the quarterfinals.
LOUD vs Karmine Corp (2-0)
Although Karmine Corp gave tough competition to the 2022 VCT Champions, LOUD beat them in both maps to secure the series 2-0. In the first map Pearl, the American team was able to win the map with a 13-10 round score. LOUD triumped in the second map Split comfortably with a 13-8 round score. The 2-0 victory helped LOUD to advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
For both the European representatives Giant and Karmine Corp, the journey in the VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo ends. Meanwhile, LOUD and NRG will face each other in the quarterfinals on Feb. 19 from 10:30 PM IST.
