All of the EMEA Closed Qualifiers have ended, and we now know who will compete in the VCT EMEA 2022 Stage 1 Challengers on February 11th. Acend, Gambit Esports, Team Liquid, and Fnatic were given direct invites to the EMEA Challengers, while the other eight teams had to participate in the EMEA Closed Qualifiers. The number of teams that will qualify for Stage 1 Masters and the final prize money are both unknown at this time, but we’re confident Riot will publish all of the details when the time comes.
The VCT EMEA Stage 1 Challengers is the inaugural competition for teams from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in the 2022 season.
