All of the EMEA Closed Qualifiers have ended, and we now know who will compete in the VCT EMEA 2022 Stage 1 Challengers on February 11th. Acend, Gambit Esports, Team Liquid, and Fnatic were given direct invites to the EMEA Challengers, while the other eight teams had to participate in the EMEA Closed Qualifiers. The number of teams that will qualify for Stage 1 Masters and the final prize money are both unknown at this time, but we’re confident Riot will publish all of the details when the time comes.

The 12 qualified teams will be divided into two groups of six for the main event. They’ll play in a round-robin format with best-of-three matches, with the top eight teams advancing to the playoffs.
