VCT 2023 Pacific League: Global Esports VALORANT Coach Addressed Esportsgen’s question regarding Possible Double duelist Comp- Global Esports is being seen as one of the top contenders of the upcoming VCT 2023 Pacific League. Just before the upcoming grand tournament of the pacific region, some media houses got a chance to throw some spicy questions in the VCT Face-Off event. Luckily, I was also one of the representatives at the press conference. Originally, SKRossi was supposed to brief the media houses on behalf of Global Esports, but due to VISA hindrance, Global Esports coach himself tackled the media’s bursting question.
Q: “Are Global Esports continuing its aggressive approach in VCT Pacific, if yes, is there are any changes to see double duelist composition moving forward?”
Coach Spin responded that “So I think this idea of an aggressive approach came from the Making Waves interviews we did before in the preseason, So that was more a reflection of how individual players viewed themselves. Obviously having duelist mains at that time sure kind of showed how the team sort of imagined itself to be over this kind of first stage of development.
We have added a lot of fundamentals to build a structure and some kind of mutual adaptation between the team and coaching staff. Now it’s moving into a second phase of development where we try to establish our own team identity and I think a lot of that will come from perception coming from the players. So, I think we will continue to move into that kind of aggressive playstyle double duelist you can expect that…”
Global Esports’s coach hinted that they will keep moving with their aggressive approach in VCT 2023 Pacific League as well. He also emphasizes players’ own mutual adaption and perception. While this team is still in the early stages of development, it will be interesting to see how Global Esports will re-evaluate its strategy considering the absence of SKrossi and Lightiningfast. Double duelist comp can be on the book, depending on the final evaluation of the team and coaching staff.
