VCT 2023 NA Challengers: Moist Esports joins the scene with a new $500,000 roster – The VALORANT Challengers League allows teams that have not been franchised by Riot Games to compete. It gives teams a chance to advance and qualify for international VALORANT tournaments. With big names like FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, TSM, MAD Lions, along with 7 other new teams already present, a new team will also join this competitive scene.

The latest entry to the NA VALORANT Challengers scene will be the Moist Esports team. It is co-owned by popular streamers Ludwig Ahgren and Charlie “MoistCr1TiKaL.” They will be competing under the name “Moist Moguls” and will have the following 5 players in it:
- Brady “thief” Dever
- Alex “aproto” Protopapas
- Brock “brawk” Somerhalder
- Xavier “flyuh” Carlson
- Tyler “sym” Porter
The team will be coached by former Heretics and Vitality coach Tanizhq. Moist Esports have also signed Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen and Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker. Both of them had been a part of the 2022 VCT Champions runner-up OpTic Gaming team.
Ludwig confirmed the rumors about entering the VALORANT Challengers scene in North America on Twitter. He said, “I spent $500,000 of Charlie’s money [on] a VALORANT team.”

Moist Esports also revealed their roster on Twitter within the next few hours. This will be the second VALORANT esports team that has been created by streamers in the NA VALORANT Challengers scene. Disguised Toast was the first one who had announced his team in this scene previously.
With so many teams in the Challengers scene, there will be a lot of action and gameplay to witness. Fans will not have to wait long to see the team in action. They will go up against Turtle Troops on Feb. 28 from 5:30 AM IST.
