VCT 2021 Masters Berlin: Playoffs are set to begin from today, Check the schedule, matchups, and more. Today, the 17th of September marks the beginning of the playoffs of VCT Masters Berlins 2021. Eight teams will be playing in the Quarterfinals from where four walks forward, the remaining go home since these are the knockout rounds. All four matches will be played tomorrow itself, that means an action-packed day for all Valorant fans out there. Two teams have qualified from each group, one team which won the winner’s match and the second team which won the decider’s match. The matchups have been created in a criss-cross manner. The first seed of group A is playing against the second seed of group C and vice-versa. The same goes for group B and group D.

Vision Strikers vs Gambit Esports

Vision Strikers are practically undefeated in this tournament up until this point. They had won both their matches 2-0 and have sailed through the group stage. For Gambit, after giving a 13-1 crushing defeat to their opponents in the first match, their performance has gone down as a result of which they were playing the decider match. Thankfully they won 2-0 after overtime in the second map. They need to remember that they are against an undefeated team so they need to be careful, plus of course, this is a single-elimination BO3.

G2 Esports vs KRU Esports

G2 has already made a statement in their previous game by sending a 2-0 defeat to Sentinels. G2 is one of the most feared teams in the tournament and has the European fans cheering for them. On the other hand, we have barely made it past the last match with scores of almost touching match points on both the maps. They will have to put their best game forward if they want to break a team that is in such good form.

100 Thieves vs Acend

The second seed from NA, 100T will be playing against team Acend. While 100T qualified by winning both their games, Acend had to really grind to make it into the playoffs. Another interesting thing is that both these teams are great at comebacks. In their previous games, both these teams lost their first maps against their respective opponents but managed to pull through from that point. This fact really makes things interesting and viewers will be waiting for twists and turn throughout the match.

Sentinels vs Team Envy

The only other team which is undefeated in this tournament. Team Envy is in great form and is landing all sorts of blows on their opponents. But now they are against one of the toughest opponents they could hope for. On the contrary, Sentinels have had a good tournament so far except for the defeat against G2 Esports where these guys were tamed and tortured. This might be a window of opportunity for Envy and if they are able to hit at the right spot, who knows, perhaps they could actually send Sentinels out. As for the Sentinels, they need to maintain their composure and play their natural game.
