VCC 2022 Grand Finals: Velocity Gaming and Global Esports into the APAC Playoffs: The Valorant Conquerors Championship 2022 journey to determine which team will represent themselves in the APAC Split 1 Playoff concludes yesterday. Only one of the two Indian titans, Velocity Gaming and Global Esports, emerged victorious after a stellar head-to-head competition. Velocity Gaming earned a spot in the regional tournament by defeating Global Esports with an overall score of 1-2 in a best of three Grand Finals.
Velocity Gaming was the first team to qualify, defeating Global Esports earlier today in the Upper Bracket Finals. Global Esports, on the other hand, persevered as they faced another top-tier Indian team in the Lower Bracket Finals. Enigma Gaming fought hard on the first map, winning eight consecutive rounds at one point. Global Esports, on the other hand, refused to give up hope. They retaliated with a performance that resulted in 13 – 10 wins on Split and 13 – 5 wins on Haven.

The matchup between Global Esports and Velocity Gaming, dubbed “Val Classico,” will be intriguing because both teams are India’s most dominant force in Valorant esports. Regardless of the outcome of the match, both teams will compete in the APAC Challengers or APAC Playoffs at Stage 1 alongside teams from the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Oceania.

South Asian Valorant fans have always enjoyed watching the rivalry between Velocity Gaming and Global Esports. They’ll play another Val-Classico today in the Valorant Conquerors Championship Grand-Finals. The two teams will compete in a best-of-five series to determine which team is the best in the South Asian region. Both of these teams will be competing for the lion’s share of the $30,000 prize pool in hooping.
