VCC 2021: 3 Indian Teams along with Pakistan’s Team Exploit qualified for Grand Finals. NODWIN Gaming and Riot Games have teamed up to host the Valorant Conquerors Championship. It is one of the events that teams can use to qualify for the APAC Last Chance Qualifiers of the Valorous Champions Tour. To compete in the Valorant Champions Tour APAC Last Chance Qualifications, teams must first win their sub-regional qualifiers in the Valorant Conquerors Championship.
The prize fund for the Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) is INR 2,500,000 ($33,000). For the first time, India will be able to compete in the Valorous Champion Tour among other South Asian nations.
The VCC group stage concluded on the third day of play, determining our final four teams for the playoff stages. India is presently dominating the VCC in South Asia, with all three Indian teams, Global Esports, Velocity Gaming, and Enigma Gaming, as well as Pakistan’s Team Exploit, in the top four.
Day 3 began with an all-Indian battle, with Global and Enigma competing for the top seed into the knockouts from Group B. Global defeated Enigma on Bind and Icebox with a 13-4 score on both maps in an easy match.
Following that, VLT faced Exceeli in a repeat of the opening round in Group A, this time with tournament qualification on the line. VLT saw Exceeli push the game to overtime despite having an 8-4 advantage, with the latter even needing to save a map point. Anuj ‘Amaterasu’ Sharma and Tejas ‘rite2ace’ Sawant, on the other hand, stepped up at the right time to save VLT, who won 16-14. On Icebox, Exceeli gave VLT some difficulties as well, leading 9-5 at one point. VLT, on the other hand, rallied for an 8-round win run on their Attacking side, defeating Icebox 13-9 and clinching the series 2-0.
Enigma takes against Salt Esports in the final game of the Group Stages, with the winner advancing to the knockout phase like the other three teams. On Icebox, Enigma were never truly challenged and won the map by a score of 13-6. Enigma made it three Indian teams in the final four after winning the map 13-5 and the series 2-0.
