Riot Games earlier this year, revealed a new Valorant in-game tournament mode that will be closely interwoven with the Domestic Leagues. This feature, which will be known as “Premier,” will start its alpha testing. The function is intended to make it easier for Valorant gamers to experience it similarly to VCT pros and teams. Premier will be made accessible to a restricted number of players as part of the alpha test, and Riot will gather input from them and apply it before rolling it out. Riot Games just revealed the exact same in-game tournament feature that will soon go live in Brazil. Valorant Premier Tournament Mode
What’s new in “Premier” game mode?
In this new game mode ‘premier’ You can form or join a team of five friends, acquaintances, or neighbours in Premier and compete against other teams with comparable skill levels for glory. Your team will be assigned to a division when you’ve assembled your lineup, and you’ll compete there during a persistent season that consists of a mixture of weekly games and tournaments. Each season will last a few weeks, and if you play your best, your team can be eligible to compete for the Division Champion title in the postseason tournament. Valorant Premier Tournament Mode
Key features focused on by Riots in the testing phase
Riot’s first comprehensive test of Premier will begin the following week with gamers in Brazil. They’ll start by testing a few crucial features. The event will begin on November 1 and end on November 21. The following features will be tested by the developers during this time.
- Team creation (with team logos and colours) Server load
- Tournament play (including a map pick-and-ban system)
- Premier Score (and qualifying for the end-of-season tournament)
- Matchmaking and queue health throughout the Alpha
We really want to emphasize THIS IS AN ALPHA. Even though we’ve been working on this for some time now, we still have some parts that need work. In its current state, Premier is about 60% of all the planned features and functionally, but there are whole features that are absent in the current Alpha” Riot said.
