VALORANT Off//Season: Check out third-party tournaments held before VCT 2023 begins – Riot Games has finally announced the initial info about the VALORANT OFF//SEASON. This time period will allow third parties to host tournaments for players in between the VCT seasons. Riot says that this move will provide a window for organized competition, new content, and freedom for tournament organizers to experiment with new formats.

This OFF//SEASON, Riot has collaborated with various regional esports organizations and will bring various VALORANT events to its players all over the world. Let us take a look at the different tournaments being held in the VALORANT regions during the OFF//SEASON.

VALORANT OFF//SEASON: Check out third-party tournaments held before VCT 2023 begins

AMERICAS
  • Vava BTS Sunset (Brazil): Event dates are from Sept. 30 till Oct. 9. It will be hosted by Beyond the Summit.
  • G4 Rumble: The event date is Oct. 1. It will be for content creators and will have a $20K prize pool.
  • Copa Rakin (Brazil): Event Dates will be from Oct. 25 to Dec. 4. It will be an influencer tournament with a 30k BRL prize pool.
  • BoomTV: Event dates are from Nov. 8 to 13. BoomTV VALORANT Select will have 8 invited pro teams and 4 qualified teams from North America.
  • Knights Arena VALORANT Freezeout (North America): Event dates are from Dec. 15 till 18. It will feature 256 teams and a single elimination bracket, with all games being best out of three.
  • Spike Series Invitational (Brazil): Event dates are from Nov. 5 to 11. It will be a Spike Series tournament with a 20k BRL prize pool.
  • VALORANT Latam Gods: Event dates are from Nov. 28 till Dec. 4. It will be a 4-day LAN event that will be held in “Movistar Game Club” in Santiago, Chile.
  • Ludwig x Tarik Invitational (North America): Event dates are Jan 14 and 15. It will be the first event to kick off the 2023 VALORANT season, featuring some of the biggest content creators in the world.

PACIFIC
  • TEC Challenger Series: Event dates are from Sept. 29 to October 13. It will be for teams from South Asia and Southeast Asia, featuring a $30k USD prize pool.
  • TEN 5_VALORANT Korea vs. Japan Showmatch: It will be held on Oct. 3 between DRX (from Korea) and Northeption (from Japan) organized by LOUD Corp.
  •  VALORANT India Invitational by Galaxy Racer (GXR): Event dates are from Oct. 14 till Nov. 20. The main event will be held in Hyderabad, India.
  • Penta Pro Series – VALORANT: Event dates are from Oct. 28 till Dec. 18. Advancing from the qualifiers, 2 teams from both South Asia and Southeast Asia will compete in the finals.
  • TEN 5_ VALORANT Special Match: It will be held on Nov. 4 and will be organized by LOUD Corporation. Best Korean and APAC teams will be invited.
  • Gwangju Esports Series (GES) Asia: Event will be held on Nov. 26 and 27. This tournament will be hosted by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the city of Gwangju.
  • WCG Rivals – VALORANT: Korea vs Japan – It will be hosted on Dec. 16. WCG Rivals is a sub tournament featuring competition between rivaling countries or organizations.
  • Afreeca TV SEA Invitational: Event dates are from Nov. 29 till Dec. 4. The AfreecaTV SEA Invitational will be a week-long event for Southeast Asian teams.
EMEA
  • Crossfire Cup Mediamarket Intel: Event dates are from Oct. 3 to Nov. 12. It will be an off-season tournament event produced by the team behind Spain’s VRL League.
  • VALORANT REGIONAL League Türkiye Invitational: The event will be held from Oct. 3 to 9 and will be for the players of Türkiye.
  • VALORANT REGIONAL League Dach Evolution: Unity – Event dates are from Oct. 3 till Dec. 18. It will be an offline event produced by the Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH and the live finals will be played at Dreamhack Hannover, Germany.
  • Red Bull Home Ground 2022: Event dates are from Oct. 7 to Dec. 11. This unique event will have a ‘Home and Away’ format.
  • BME Superdome: The event will be held from Oct. 13 to 22. It will be held in Cairo Stadium, Egypt, and will invite top MENA and EMEA VALORANT teams.
  • G-Loot VALORANT Clash: Event dates are from Oct. 21 till Nov. 27. VALORANT teams from EU West, EU East, and Türkiye & MENA will need to succeed in the regional qualifiers if they want to compete in this event.
  • Coupe de France: Event dates are from Oct. 27 to Dec. 12. It will be an online VALORANT Regional League France offseason event.
  • Lyon e-Sport: The event will be held from Nov. 11 to 13. It will be a LAN event in Lyon, France where 32 VALORANT teams will participate.

As you can see the off-season calendar for VALORANT is pumped with a lot of events and tournaments. Thus, both teams and fans have a lot of content to look forward to.
