VALORANT new Los Angeles map: Riot Games, the company that made Valorant, shared a sneak peek video that hints at a new map in the game. This map might be in Los Angeles. Riot Games often shows new stuff during their big game tournaments, and this year’s Valorant Champions 2023 is doing the same.
The video shows the game’s newest character, Deadlock, talking with Cypher. They’re talking about a company called Kingdom and its actions. The video also has pictures from Kingdom’s places, which seem to be in California because of the palm trees and hills in the background.
Valorant New map will be based on Los Angeles
Smart viewers have noticed that the map Cypher talks about looks a lot like the roads in Los Angeles. Also, fans have seen a Player Card called “Golden Hour” in the Battle Pass for Episode Seven Act One. This card seems to suggest that the next map could be in LA. Riot Games has done something similar before, hinting at new maps through Player Cards in past Battle Passes.
No more hiding. Cypher and Deadlock’s peek behind the KINGDOM curtain is just the beginning.

There are more clues that suggest the new map could be in Los Angeles. In the video, there’s a quick glimpse of an old-fashioned car parked in the background, and the orange light looks like the sunset in LA. This is not the only hint though.
In the current Battle Pass for Episode Seven, Act One, there’s a special card called “Golden Hour” that shows a sunny scene with palm trees and LA-style looks. Riot Games has used these cards before to give hints about new maps. They did this with the Pearl and Lotus maps too, in the past.
Valorant New Map Expected Reveal Date
The teaser also drops a hint about a special date, August 26th. This date is important because it’s connected to the Los Angeles theory. On that day, the VALORANT Champions 2023 finals will be held, and interestingly, they’re taking place in Los Angeles!
