VALORANT Mobile Release: Riot Games Developers Provided Latest Update on Valorant on Mobile and Console: Valorant Executive Producer Anna Donlon stated in a Dev Diaries video that Riot Games is making a lot of effort to port Valorant to other platforms, but that it would still take some time. Riot Games isn’t only focused on creating and maintaining a devoted PC player base for VALORANT, so players looking to play on other platforms shouldn’t anticipate any significant advancements very soon.
During today’s “dev diary” video previewing 2023, VALORANT dev team lead Anna Donlon stated that the team is “continuing their efforts” on bringing the game to other platforms, but that it is taking longer than anticipated.

"We are continuing our work on bringing Valorant to new platforms. It's going slower than we hoped. Probably slower than you hoped, but we want to get it right."

Donlon acknowledged, “It’s going slower than we’d hoped.” Most likely more slowly than you had intended, but we want to do it well. Donlon didn’t mention beta testing or a probable launch date for the introduction of VALORANT on additional platforms. These all acknowledgements lead them that we are moving to inch closer towards the Valorant Mobile release. VALORANT Mobile Release
Console releases for Riot Games’ games are still pending. League of Legends has been converted to other PC clients, such as Epic Games Launcher, while Teamfight Tactics has been available on both mobile and PC virtually from its release. Every League of Legends champion and Valorant agent were made available to Xbox Game Pass users as a result of a cooperation between Riot Games and Microsoft that was announced in June 2022.

Donlon hinted that Valorant would have its own spin on the traditional first-person shooter game mode, but Ho stayed mum on the specifics. Every Agent in Valorant has a unique ability that can affect the mode, making it different from other classic FPS games in terms of gameplay. Riot has not yet said if it would eliminate these gameplay components for this mode or how it will manage weapon selection.
