LOUD sends NAVI home
The first map of the match started with NAVI’s own map pick, Pearl. NAVI completely dominated the first half, as the score stands at 8-4. LOUD displayed signs of a comeback with a few clutch rounds in the second half. After several exchanges of rounds, it was NAVI who secured the map with a 13-11 score. Also, cNed’s impressive 21 kills were commendable.
We moved on to the second map, Ascent. Once again, NAVI took the dominant start, as at one point the score was 6-1. However, LOUD secured an impressive comeback and ended the first half with a 6-6 score. In the second half, it was LOUD who started with consecutive wins. Finally, LOUD tied the overall score with a 13-11 map victory on Ascent.
In the decider, Bind, LOUD carried forward their momentum from the first half, ending the score at 7-5. The pistol round win in the second half completely pushed NAVI to the back seat. After a few exchanges of rounds, LOUD emerged victorious. With this, NAVI’s journey in the VALORANT Champions comes to an end.
FUT eliminated T1
FUT and T1 met once again, and this time the result was the same as the previous clash. FUT crushed T1 2-0. In the first map, Bind, FUT completely dominated T1 in the first half with a 10-2 score. Fans were expecting an easy closeout in the second half, but T1 didn’t agree. They secured rounds one after another, bringing the score to 10-12 at one point. However, it was FUT who ultimately secured the map with a 13-10 score.
While fans were still digesting the impact of the first map, we witnessed another close and intense match. The first-half score was 7-5 in favor of FUT. After the round swap, the match entered beast mode as both teams were reluctant to give up, pushing the map into overtime. Finally, FUT calmed their nerves and secured the map and match with a 14-12 score. With this, T1’s journey in VALORANT Champions 2023 also comes to an end.
