VALORANT Champions 2022 Playoffs Day 1: DRX and LOUD’s dominant performances secures them upper bracket semifinals spots- On the first day of the VALORANT Champions 2022 playoffs, fans witnessed many incredible plays. Both DRX and LOUD swept over their opponents and advance into the upper bracket semifinals. Here, the two teams will face each other. Let us look into the matchups of the day.

Upper Bracket Quarter Finals
LEVIATAN VS LOUD
The playoffs started with a bang! Both Leviatan and LOUD played incredibly from the beginning, resulting in overtime on the first map. LOUD won back-to-back rounds to secure it.
The second map was a different story as LOUD completely crushed their opponents here. They were able to take it quite easily and close the series with a 2-0 victory. While LOUD advances to the upper bracket semifinals, Leviatan still has a chance to make it back in the lower brackets.
DRX VS FUNPLUS PHOENIX
The first map between DRX and FunPlus Phoenix became one of the longest ones being played in this tournament. With FPX forcing overtime, both teams won the upcoming rounds in a back-and-forth fashion. It was DRX who ultimately won to take a lead in the series.
The second map became a one-sided stomp by DRX. They breezed through their opponents to register a 2-0 victory and advance into upper bracket semifinals. FunPlus Phoenix can still make a comeback by winning in the lower bracket.

DRX and LOUD will face each other in the upper bracket semifinals. On the other hand, Leviatan and FunPlus Phoenix will also lock horns in lower bracket round 1.
