VALORANT Champions 2022 Day 4 Results: DRX qualifies for VALORANT Champions 2022 Playoffs! Day 4 of the ongoing VALORANT Champions tour consisted of only clean sweeps by winning teams. In all three of the matches today, it was a 2-0 series win earned by the victorious team. Let us take a look at all these matchups.
VALORANT Champions 2022 Day 4 Results
Group C – Opening Matches
XSET VS XERXIA
The first matchup of the day turned out to be somewhat of a one-sided series. The NA team (XSET) showcased a more dominant performance to win back-to-back maps. Although Xerxia tried hard, they fell short in both games, allowing XSET to win the series by 2-0.
FUNPLUS PHOENIX VS KRU ESPORTS
The next series between FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) and KRU had a similar story. Still one can say that KRU packed up a more intense fight, but ultimately, the team fell after losing two maps continuously. It looked like FPX has reached its top form and will hope to continue this momentum moving forward.
Group D – Winner’s Match
DRX VS 100 Thieves
DRX and 100 Thieves fought quite intensely for the playoff spot. While 100 Thieves managed to push the first map into overtime, it was still not enough from them as DRX won it to claim a lead in the series.
It felt like this loss had affected 100 Thieves also. In the next map, DRX again took an early lead and maintained it throughout, until finally winning the game. With this 2-0 victory, DRX becomes the third team to make it to VALORANT Champions 2022 Playoffs.
