Uncharted 4 Coming in 2022: Sony to Remove Multiplayer Mode for PC and PS5. Uncharted 4 has been one of the most successful PlayStation games in recent years, so it’s no surprise that Naughty Dog and Sony are bringing the game to the PlayStation 5 and PC in 2022 with the Uncharted 4: Legacy of Thieves Collection. While much information about this bundle, which also includes Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, is still unknown, it appears that one important feature from Uncharted 4 will be missing from the new platforms.
Spotted in a recent listing from the ESRB, it looks as though the multiplayer mode that Naughty Dog originally released in Uncharted 4 will not be coming with Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
It’s since been revealed that not only have the games’ multiplayer modes been removed but that they’ve also been scarcely modified from their original PlayStation 4 iteration.
About Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
Nathan Drake’s odyssey came to an end with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Fans of the series were able to see Nathan Drake in a new light as they watched him struggle to live a normal family life before regressing and returning to the life of adventure he’d tried to leave behind. It’s an emotional single-player story that has already enticed many PlayStation lovers to buy and play the game.
Uncharted’s multiplayer has always been unexpectedly good, even though the series is most renowned for its single-player games, and this was the case again with Uncharted 4 — with The Lost Legacy bringing additional unique content of its own.
People who enjoyed the previous games’ multiplayer game modes or who intended to try it out for the first time may be disappointed. With a variety of game types provided either in the basic game or through updates, a lot of effort was certainly put into making the multiplayer as diverse and entertaining as possible.
