The system requirements for Ubisoft’s most awaited game, Far Cry 6, have been officially disclosed. Ubisoft is the firm behind a number of popular game titles. However, the game’s system requirements appear to be rather high, and it may blow your head. If you want to experience the full potential of the next game, you’ll need some high-end PC components. We’ve included the minimum, recommended, and optimum PC requirements for Far Cry 6 in this article.

Far Cry 6 Recommended System Requirements (Ray Tracing turned on)

1440P 60FPS

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 – 3.7Ghz or Intel i5 – 4.7Ghz
  • Video card: AMD RX 6900XT or NVIDIA RTX 3070
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 60GB HDD

4K 30FPS

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 – 3.7Ghz or Intel i7 – 3.8Ghz
  • Video card: AMD RX 6800 or NVIDIA RTX 3080
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 60GB HDD

Like’s not a small request at the top end, but it appears that most PCs will be able to run Far Cry 6 to some extent, and Ubisoft’s video hints there will be lots of back-end fiddling if you want to fine-tune your experience even more. If we talk about the release date, Far Cry 6 isn’t far off, with a release date on October 7th, allowing you a little over a month to make sure your rig is ready.
