Twitch unbans HasanAbi before 48 hours of suspension notice following DMCA strike – Hasan has been unbanned from Twitch just 24 hours later, a day earlier than he and his fans expected. He received a DMCA strike on his channel when reacting to an episode from Censored.tv.
One of the most popular political commentators and streamers on Twitch is HasanAbi. Even better, he won this year’s YouTube-hosted Streamy Awards for best newsmaker. His channel is highly successful with over 2.2 million subscribers on the purple platform.

Twitch unbans HasanAbi before 48 hours of suspension notice following DMCA strike
HasanAbi was responding to and harshly condemning a Censored.TV show about Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) in light of his “I admire Hitler” remark and anti-Semitic online remarks. Following filing the copyright claim against him, Hasan’s stream was DMCA’d.
The streamer later fanned the flames on Twitter by charging Censored.tv with hypocrisy for shutting down his channel while supporting free speech. Hasan responded to the official Streamer Bans Twitter account with additional comments regarding his ban, labeling the copyright claim against his channel as “pathetic.”

This isn’t the first time the streamer has received a DMCA strike or ban on Twitch. He is recognized for his harsh, cut-throat comment on various incidents happening around him and engages in debates. In one of his latest streams, his broadcast suddenly ended and users were met with a message: “Content from this channel has been removed at the request of the copyright holder.”
After Hasan confirmed that he was suspended, his ban on Twitch was lifted soon. He was unblocked from the purple platform a day before his original suspension notice. Although Hasan hasn’t responded to his early unban, it’s likely that he will go live on his channel shortly to resume his daily streams.
