Twitch Streamer Pokimane shares her future plans after she returns from a long break – After a gap of more than a month, Imane “Pokimane” Anys’ followers have been eagerly expecting her return to Twitch. Pokimane has now made the decision to inform her community of the stuff she would be posting once she is back online.
Due to feeling a little burnt out, Pokimane made the decision to take a hiatus in the latter part of July, leaving behind Twitch, content creation, and social networking. Pokimane reappeared on Twitter to post a seductive selfie after going silent for a month. Pokimane has now made the decision to reveal how she has been feeling and her future plans following her transfer and departure from Twitch.
Pokimane offered a very ambiguous reason when she first left Twitch. Pokimane mentioned exhaustion and mental health, just as other content producers. After her relocation, she thought she wasn’t taking care of herself since she was tired of seeing “the same unpleasant comments.”
Pokimane experienced clarity on her identity and job throughout her hiatus. In order to play games and broadcast all day, she had really been put off doing “basic human stuff,” like discovering a different gym and grocery shop. The 26-year-old, who has been streaming since she was 17, felt that she had been “putting herself out there” so much that she was no longer sure if she was acting for herself or for approval.
Twitch Streamer Pokimane shares her future plans
“As an adult, you’re figuring out who you are and discovering yourself. When I’m constantly putting myself out there, I’m not taking the time to actually reflect or grow as an individual or think about what I like. […] You don’t realize the toll it takes on you as a person,” Pokimane said on a new video. “Am I turning into the person I want to be?”
While talking about her sentiments regarding being a full-time streamer, Pokimane began to feel anxious and choke up in the middle of the video. She said she was playing all of the popular, big-name games but that she didn’t feel as passionate or enthusiastic about “engaging in the rat race that is streaming.”
Pokimane discovered during her hiatus that she valued the ability to live her life and not have to stream every day. She liked making a TikTok or an Instagram story, going about her day and then restarting her pattern. Pokimane claimed that after first feeling pressured to resume broadcasting, she now feels “relieved” that she is not required to adhere to her strenuous streaming schedule.
Pokimane declared that she would use other platforms more in the future. She will continue to broadcast and game, but she won’t have a regular streaming schedule anymore. Instead, she’ll be on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media sites that “fit into my lifestyle” a little bit more. Pokimane will be able to engage with more groups on Twitch as she delves deeper into the fashion, travel vlogging, and beauty topics that she finds “so exciting and gratifying.”
Pokimane won’t stop screaming, but she will do it much less frequently in order to concentrate on other forms of online content production. On YouTube, her update received mostly positive feedback from fans. But only time will tell what Pokimane actually has in store for the future and how her audience will respond to her novel material.
