Twitch Sponsored Streams: Twitch streamers lack faith in the platform’s new sponsorship system calling it “awful” – Many Twitch streamers worry that Twitch will be taking a sizable share of any new sponsorship system the platform implements, and they have expressed their concerns about it. These issues have included everything from disagreements over Twitch’s revenue-sharing scheme to claims of unfair handling of particular creators.

With the help of this new feature, streamers might be able to generate additional income, and sponsors will have a more straightforward way to support their favorite creators. Many have taken to Twitter to voice their opinion about the same. “Whilst this may make things more streamlined for some people. It honestly sounds like you are just trying to take a cut from sponsored content,” Pestily said.
“No thanks, I like to manage my sponsorships and the income I personally derive from that work myself. cute idea though” PaladinAmber replied. “Could you start testing a way to stop taking half of my income instead?” added Bearki.
Since Twitch’s new sponsorship scheme is still being tested, it is unclear how it will operate and how much of a cut Twitch will receive. The lack of faith in Twitch’s revenue-sharing system is highlighted by the fact that broadcasters are growing dubious of the platform’s motives and fear that the new system will result in even less income for them.
