The majority of streamers have made Twitch their preferred medium, but despite this, they have had a lot of complaints about it from them. Recently, Twitch revealed that it was testing a new sponsorship system that would let sponsors use subscriptions that were given to them to pay for broadcasts.

With the help of this new feature, streamers might be able to generate additional income, and sponsors will have a more straightforward way to support their favorite creators. Many streamers, however, are wary of this shift because they worry that Twitch might take a cut of these donated subscriptions.

“No thanks, I like to manage my sponsorships and the income I personally derive from that work myself. cute idea though” PaladinAmber replied. “Could you start testing a way to stop taking half of my income instead?” added Bearki.
Since Twitch’s new sponsorship scheme is still being tested, it is unclear how it will operate and how much of a cut Twitch will receive. The lack of faith in Twitch’s revenue-sharing system is highlighted by the fact that broadcasters are growing dubious of the platform’s motives and fear that the new system will result in even less income for them.
