Twitch Reveals Official Dates for Much Awaiting TwitchCon 2022

Twitch Reveals Official Dates for Much Awaiting TwitchCon 2022: TwitchCon is back in 2022 after the yearly convention was canceled the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The streaming platform officially announced the dates of its two conventions. With two events, one in Europe and one in North America, TwitchCon will be held in Amsterdam on July 16 and 17, while the event will return to San Diego from Oct. 7 to 9. This will be the first in-person TwitchCon since September 2019, when the convention was held at the San Diego Convention Center.

Twitch is attempting to be optimistic about the future after a cancelled edition in 2020, with plans for two TwitchCon editions in 2022. The platform has announced the return of its gaming event, which will take place in Amsterdam in July and San Diego in October. This is a chance for gamers to meet in person, exchange ideas, and, of course, play together.

According to a blog post on the Amazon-owned website, in the last year, they have welcomed 8,550 new partners as well as 548,000 affiliates, bringing the total number of partners and affiliates on Twitch to over 50,000 and 1.5 million. They went on to say that the platform has grown tremendously, and they’re excited to bring back the live-streaming convention. TwitchCon will return with two events, the first in Amsterdam on July 16-17, 2022, and the second in San Diego on October 7-9, 2022.

TwitchCon is a convention that is normally held twice a year in North America and Europe during non-pandemic times. It is centered on Twitch, a popular gaming live streaming platform, and the event highlights the culture of video game streaming gaming.
