Twitch has allowed Kai Cenat to slip away from multiple bans according to xQc – Kai Cenat had become the most subscribed streamer on Twitch a few months ago. Since that time, he received one ban on the platform back in April. But according to Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, Twitch has allowed Kai to “get away with” bans multiple times. Here is everything you need to know about the issue.
Twitch has allowed Kai Cenat to slip away from multiple bans according to xQc
Kai Cenat was banned by Twitch for a period of 7 days after conducting some lewd activities in GTA during his livestream. Responding to this ban, Kai later threatened to leave the platform if Twitch bans him again next time.
Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel gave his thoughts on this topic in his latest stream. He stated, “I think, based on my experience and my knowledge and expertise around TOS and Twitch staff and moderators at Twitch, Kai got away with f**king so much.”
xQc further said, “Kai balled out super hard. This is his objective. Him saying ‘Oh well he got banned for this, lol’. If you want to scope out and look at what people normally get banned for, he would have gotten banned like five or six times. I think that’s like the absolute minimum.”
When it comes to banning streamers, Twitch’s disciplinary process is notorious for not being completely transparent. Many times the banned creators as well as their viewers have asked for the specific reasons that lead to bans. But the Amazon-owned streaming platform does not reveal the exact reason and just cites it as violating community guidelines.
Even big streamers like Dr.Disrespect have been subjected to this in the past.
