Trainwreck takes a dig at Pokimane, Ludwig, Hasan, and Mizkif for being “hypocrites” over gambling streams – Kick streamer Trainwreck, who is recognized for his outspoken views on gambling-related matters, recently called out several popular streamers such as Pokimane, Ludwig, Hasan, and Mizkif regarding their stance on the issue. Trainwreck accused them of being “hypocrites” and suggested that their attention to the gambling problem on Twitch was solely driven by personal gain.
Last year, the issue of streamer Slicker ripping off friends to feed on gambling addiction is what led to debates about gambling on Twitch. As news of these allegations emerged, several other streamers publicly denounced Sliker’s actions. In contrast, others such as Pokimane, Ludwig, Mizkif, and Hasan took it as an opportunity to advocate for a ban on gambling content on Twitch due to the potential harm it could cause to viewers.

When asked about his current gambling activities, Trainwreck went on a rant about the various issues and controversies that still persist on Twitch. “I’m telling you, bro. All those streamers — all of them. Whether it’s Miz, Hasan, Ludwig, Poki, they are all hypocrites. All of them. That was never about anything. That was just about petty bullshit about view count and money. That’s all it was.”
The purple platform has also clarified its guidelines regarding gambling-related content, emphasizing that streamers must comply with applicable laws and regulations and should not engage in any form of gambling with unlicensed or unauthorized services. They would allow websites related to sports betting, poker, etc.
However, monitoring and regulating all gambling-related content on a live-streaming platform can be a challenging task. Twitch relies on user reports and its own internal processes to identify and take action against violations. They encourage users to report any content that violates their guidelines, including gambling-related streams that may be in breach of the terms of service.
Trainwreck defended against claims of letting these streamers live in his head “rent-free” despite the time that had passed since last year, emphasizing that the emotions were still relevant to him. “It’s funny how you say rent free, p*ssyboy, I’m pretty sure I was rent-free in their minds, that entire group, for two and a half years straight while I went live and didn’t say a f*cking word, you hypocritical little b*tch,” he shot back.
The gambling-related drama will persist as long as there are differing opinions on the matter and streamers continue to exploit loopholes to promote related content.
