Trainwreck, a well-known streamer, is accusing Twitch personnel of bringing their political opinions to work and negatively influencing the platform’s agenda.
Trainwreck is closely associated with gambling streams on the purple platform and is quite vocal regarding the same. Recently, Twitch banned certain gambling sites from streaming after the platform was embroiled in gambling addiction and scams by streamers of the platform. In particular, Trainwreck often talks about the site’s decision to outlaw slot-based gambling sites while continuing to allow sports betting, and he believes that many of these policy changes are motivated by political convictions.

During a recent broadcast, the streamer criticized Twitch for allowing their politics to permeate the workplace. “They need to go to these individuals and say, ‘listen, you need to pack up all the politics you brought from your own home, that you brought to work, you need to pack it up, put it in your bag, and bring it back home,’” he urged.

Trainwreck is strongly of the opinion that personal agenda shouldn’t be brought into the workspace. “I believe too much of the at-home politics are brought to work and that is why Twitch is in the red,” he slammed. “Everything that’s leading to these policy changes, that are totally backward for the most part, is coming from that bullsh*t.
Rival platforms to Twitch like YouTube and others are drawing streamers and challenging the purple platform’s supremacy. This indicates that Twitch needs to bring about some changes in its policy that appeases the streamers. Also, it remains to be seen if Trainwreck will be granted his wish.
