The peak viewership record for any esports match was set by Worlds 2019, the match between SK Telecom T1 and G2 Esports. 2020 League of Legends World Championship had set the most-watched esports tournament of all time with over 139,000,000 hours watched from start to finish.

IEM Katowice 2020 was one of the best live events in 2020 with nearly got 18,000,000 total watched hours. The tournament’s grand finals which were played between Natus Vincere and G2 Esports had gotten around 1,000,000 live viewers in the stream with 280,000 average viewership at the finals.
