“TikTok is the dumbest social media platform”, Twitch Streamer Hasanabi said after surprise ban: After receiving a week-long ban from TikTok, Popular streamer Hasan Piker called out the platform as the dumbest social media platform ever made for incorporating insignificant moderation guidelines.
TikTok has already had enough of criticism for its moderation guidelines from its creators and now another creator Hasan demand justification for his ban from the platform. He wrote the same to another platform allowing his fan to know about it. He further raised questions on what particular behavior of his has triggered the platform to ban him.
On August 14, Hasan shared a post on his official Twitter handle throwing the news of his ban with screenshots revealing the details of the matter. The screenshot showcased a video that had the audio stripped due to some form of violation. Later, the sound was promptly restored after an appeal. This highlights Hasan has done nothing wrong.
There is no further another update between that moment and the notification of him being blocked from posting for a week due to “multiple violations” of the aforementioned community guidelines.
“I am losing my f***ing mind with their community guidelines. Make it make sense to me please,” the Twitch superstar pleaded.

Although this might not turn out to be a big deal for some, the suspension indeed affects the career of a popular star for not being able to stay active for a week. The 31-year-old Hasan has nearly 300k followers on the platform and posts almost daily. The increase in the engagement of his fans and followers helps him grow faster. Thus, a sudden ban for a week has an impact on the numbers which Hasan seems to be concerned with.
Although their methods have constantly drawn the ire of big content creators, it doesn’t seem that TikTok is going to switch up its moderation methods anytime soon.
