THYMESIA Release Date: Thymesia a New Action Adventure Game Release Date Pushed to 2022. Thymesia is a new action-adventure game that puts you in the shoes of the world’s toughest plague doctor, who fights foes with diseases that have been turned into weapons. The fast-paced action RPG, which is reminiscent of Dark Souls, was set to release on December 7th. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case any longer, as Thymesiaa is set to arrive in 2022.
Team17 and OverBorder Studio have today announced that punishing action RPG Thymesia will be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S alongside PC in 2022.
Game Plot
The Game is set in a hauntingly beautiful setting and follows Corvus, a strange half-human, half-raven who strives to piece together his lost memories in order to preserve himself and the realm he once called home. Perfect parries, dynamic dodges, and aggressive strikes are at the heart of Thymeisia’s challenges, which are based on Corvus’ ability to grab enemies’ plague weapons and use them for himself.
He can also summon dagger-like feathers in his raven form. Multiple character builds and diverse endings increase replayability by allowing you to shape Corvus to your desire. Below is the original trailer for the announcement.
OverBorder Studio says it’s leaving Thymesia in the oven for a little longer because it wants to make sure it’s razor-sharp for its big reveal. On the plus side, the game has been confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, after previously just confirming PC. Thymesia is currently available on Wishlist on Steam.
About the Developers
OverBorder Studio, along with Team 17, is now working on its combat-focused debut title Thymesia, which is made up of a group of seven gaming enthusiasts with game development experience from various studios and is based in Taiwan.
