The remake of Max Payne 1 and 2 is promised on the recent deal of Remedy Entertainments with Rockstar Games – In a recent official announcement, Remedy Entertainment disclosed plans to recreate the popular shooter video game Max Payne 1 & 2 in collaboration with Rockstar games.
With the new development deal with Rockstar games, Remedy looks forward to launching a remake of the iconic Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne video games. Remedy looks at this agreement with the hope of providing the fans of the game a taste of thrill and action in more exciting ways.

The remake of Max Payne 1 and 2 is promised on the recent deal of Remedy Entertainments with Rockstar Games
The press release has revealed that Rockstar games will fund the entire project and Remedy will be in charge of developing the games as a single title for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is not the first time that both parties are working together on this project only that the publishing agreement has been renewed lately and the size of the game “will be in line with a typical Remedy AAA-game production.”
“Max Payne has always held a special place in the hearts of everyone at Remedy, and we know the millions of fans worldwide feel the same,” said Remedy CEO, Tero Virtala. “We’re hugely excited to be working with our partners at Rockstar Games once again for the chance to bring the story, action, and atmosphere of the original Max Payne games back to players in new ways.”
This game will be developed in the same Northlight game engine that was used for video gaming projects like Control and the forthcoming Alan Wake 2. The new Max Payne is in its concept development phase and the makers of the game haven’t revealed anything about its release date.
