Garena hosted the Free Fire Asia All-Stars (FFAS) 2020 event which was played on June 12th-13th. Among all the teams, twelve of the best professional teams and influencers from Indonesia, India, Vietnam, and Thailand competed for a share of the $80,000 prize pool.
The Free Fire Asia All-stars tournament was divided into two portions, the first one was the Influencer All-Stars and the second one was for the Pro players.
Influencer All-Stars 12 June 2020
FFAA 2020 started with 12 teams consisting all-stars competed for the prize pool of US$30,000. The 4 regions – India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam – each represented by 3 teams, comprising a mix of streamers and pros.
Team Savage won the Free Fire Influencer All-Stars (FFAS) 2020 event. The Thai roster featuring popular YouTubers Cake XI, JASMINNIIIZ, SACOOL CH, and GuyNa took home $8,000 out of the $30,000 prize pool.
Pros All-Stars 13 June 2020
The Day 2 of FFAA 2020 witnessed the top pro teams from the 4 regions become the inaugural Pros All-Stars champion. The top 3 teams for each region were invited to represent their region at the Pros All-Stars and compete for the massive US$50,000 prize pool.
The teams played six matches in total across three maps of Garena Free Fire—Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari—to decide the final rankings in the event.
Xavier Esports emerged as the winners of Pros All-Stars(FFAS) 2020 event. The team was founded in 2016 by a group of friends who have played the game previously, they also have teams in various games like Overwatch, Dota2, CS: GO &PUBG.
The Fire Asia All-Stars (FFAS) 2020 came out to be a great success for the Garena team and players hope to get similar tournaments in future.
