Team CLOY from Sri Lanka Defeated Lexious Gaming from the Maldives to Qualify for VCC Playoffs. Crash Landin on You (Team CLOY) from Sri Lanka won 3-2 in the Valorant Conquerors Championship Sri Lanka & Maldives Qualifier Grand Finals against Lexious Gaming. They become the fourth team from South Asia to join Velocity Gaming, Salt Esports, and Damaru Gaming in Playoffs. Interestingly, this was the first Match in the entire VCC Regional qualifiers, which got decided on its 5th map. Here is the match-wise result.

Map 1: Haven
Team CLOY won the first half as the defenders with nine rounds in their favor, while Lexious Gaming took only 3 rounds. After the side change, Lexious Gaming shown signs of a comeback by securing 6 rounds in their favor. Team CLOY, on the other hand, won four more rounds and the first match of the series.

Map 2: Icebox
With 10 rounds in their favor, Lexious Gaming built a commanding lead in the first half with a great performance as the defender. Team CLOY was only able to take one round in their favor after the side change. Lexious Gaming went on to win the match after securing the next three rounds. In Icebox Sri Lankan team was completely outshined by the Maldives.

Map 3: Split
With 10 rounds in their favor, Team CLOY dominated Map 3 in the first half as the defender. Lexious Gaming only managed to win one round after the side swap. Three more rounds were secured by Team CLOY, and the match was won. This map seems to be a mirror image of the previous one but conditions were swapped between teams.

Map 4: Breeze
This time, Lexious Gaming took the field as the defensive and won six rounds. In the second half, Team CLOY won four rounds. Lexious Gaming, on the other hand, won the match after securing seven rounds in the second half.

Map 5: Ascent
It all came down to the series’ final map. With nine rounds in their favor, Team CLOY started as the defender and dominated the opening half. Lexious Gaming was unable to secure a single round after the side swap. The team, on the other hand, stole four more rounds and clinched the series.

With this Win, Team CLOY becomes the fourth team from South Asia to qualify for the VCC playoffs Grand Finals, which will begin on August 19th. Meanwhile, Lexious Esports still has a chance to make the Playoffs through Valorant Conquerors Championship Wildcards.
