T1 becomes the first LCK team to produce an 18-0 clean sweep in the Regular Season – T1 can be considered one of the most successful esports teams in the League of Legends history. Apart from their star player, Faker continuously breaking new records, the organization has also gained various achievements in the League of Legends esports circuit. They are the only team to win the World Championship more than once (they have done it three times) and now, they have achieved another impossible-looking feat in the ongoing LCK Spring 2022 tournament.
They have become the first team in the LCK history to win all of their matches in the Regular Season. After beating DRX in their last match series, they now sit undefeated on top of the LCK Spring 2022 teams’ table with an 18-0 score.
In their final series against DRX, T1 had to struggle against the current dark horses of the tournament. DRX is currently toe-to-toe with Damwon Gaming with an 11-7 score and posed quite a tough challenge for Faker’s team. T1 was determined to complete the perfect run in this LCK Spring 2022 and Faker played a dominant role in the middle lane in both the games of the best-of-3 match series.
The flawless LCK regular-season run will be another record in the history books for T1. After a few underperforming years since their last World Championship win, it looks like the esports organization is picking itself up with Faker at its helm. T1 will now play its semifinal on Saturday, 26th March against either the winner between defending champions Damwon Gaming and Brion Esports.
